Anne Sophie announces her departure from Ghana in August.

French Ambassador set to leave Ghana

The acclaimed French Ambassador to Ghana, who has won many hearts with her good deeds and support for local artists, has announced that her four-year assignment would end in August 2022.

Anne Sophie Avé has stated that the move will be difficult, but she is satisfied with the work she has done thus far, particularly her ability to pull off ‘Accra In Paris,’ a musical concert that saw Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Fameye, and Kwabena Kwabena break into the French music market with a first-time performance in the country.

Speaking to Zeinatu Issahaku on the 2022 VGMA red carpet, the French Ambassador praised April’s concert in Paris as a success, but she will soon depart the good people of Ghana who made her stay memorable.
“At the end of August, I’ll be leaving……” I’ve been here for four years and I’m going to be devastated, but I still have a few months left and I’m sure there will be a few more things, perhaps not as high-profile as this one.

Anne Sophie Avé has had a long friendship with a number of musicians and has previously performed at their events.
“So many memories will stay with me. I’m going to take away the people’s emotions. I admire the people here for their warmth, hospitality, and smile. The music conveys all of this, and I’ll be taking a big playlist with me “she continued.
