Poco Lee was the one who linked me – Black Sherif Discusses His Meeting with Burna Boy

Black Sherif, the man of the moment, has revealed how he met Nigerian musician Burna Boy, with whom he had the remix of his monster hit Second Sermon, which is a sequel to his First Sermon, which also became an immediate smash.

During an interview with Ghana’s TV3, Sherif, whose new tune, ‘Kwaku The Traveller,‘ is shattering boundaries and ‘disturbing’ Ghana and beyond, said that his professional contact with the African Giant was brokered by Nigerian dancer, Poco Lee, who played his song for Burna Boy.

He revealed that a member of Burna Boy’s crew contacted him over WhatsApp and stated that Burna Boy was really impressed with the composition.

When the rapper finally had an opportunity to connect with Burna Boy via video call, he said they chatted for around 20 minutes and that’s how their relationship began.
