From the last ten years, the fraternity of Ghanaian dancehall has gained popularity and it all began to get attention when Shatta Wale took on Samini in a lyrical battle that lasted for years.
In the process all rose Stonebwoy, Kaakie, Jupitar, Epixode.
Stonebwoy inherited the beef that also lasted for a number of years and during the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards night, it almost got nasty.
Ghanaian dancehall artist Jupitar recently indicated that he would have faced Stonebwoy instead, while Samini faces Shatta Wale in the Asaase Radio Sound Clash contest.
This news was met with mixed reactions as those from the camp of Shatta Wale agreed to what Jupitar said, but the camp of Bhim opposed the change.
There’s no beef between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy or his father Samini at the moment, but it’s still the most vibrant genre.
The genre was given the requisite attention once again when Asaase Radio decided to pit Stonebwoy against Shatta Wale in what they called radio Sound Clash.
Stonebwoy has been throwing subtle jabs at him, according to Jupitar, after he said he should be facing Stonebwoy instead.
Through his twitter page, though, he has decided to charge Stonebwoy for man up and face him if he is lyrically good.

Twitter users upon seeing his post questioned the dancehall artiste, who might be the person he was referring to, meanwhile others trolled him saying he should use his energy to do songs rather than tweeting.
