Since the latter eventually unveiled the official visuals of her internationally celebrated track ‘Already,’ Dancehall artist Shatta Wale praised American singer Beyoncé.

Shatta Wale wrote to his social media platforms: “Thank you, My Queen, for believing in my talent and providing me with a forum for spreading my positive message to the world … God will bless you forever”

The track featuring the Ghanaian dancehall act and Major Lazer, the Jamaican-American dance group, soon received global airplays, with many people making their music video clips versions.

Shatta Wale was vigorously trolled after Beyonce released some of the music videos off her album ‘The Gift,’ which had ‘Already’ on it. The song that got nominated for the Grammy 2020 Best Vocal Song was the film’s official movie soundtrack, “The Lion King.”

As the trolls persisted, Shatta Wale kept to himself as he refused to comment on whether the duo had shot a music video for the massively played song.

Nevertheless, months after the release of the album, snippets of the video were published, causing a ton of hype among Ghanaians as it turned out that the ‘Already’ song will be used as the official sound track of Beyoncé’s new film.

Before the release of the highly awaited film, Black Is King, Beyonce announced that she had traveled to countries like Ghana and South Africa to film parts of the album.
